5-vehicle crash blocks I-475 near the Zebulon Road in Macon-41nBC News

All lanes to the north of the I-475 near the Zebulon Road were closed after a crash with five vehicles with commercial vehicles and a passenger car.

Macon, Georgia (41nBC/WMGT) – A crash with five vehicles blocked all lanes of the Interstate 475 to the north on Monday evening in the Zebulon Road.

The crash occurred around 4:50 p.m. near the I-475 rest station and, according to a press release from the sheriff office, included four commercial vehicles and one passenger vehicle. No life -threatening injuries were reported.

From 5:13 p.m. Georgia 511 reported that all lanes to the north were blocked in front of the outcome of the Zebulon Straße (Mile Marker 7) due to the crash. The estimated time to remove the lanes was listed as 6:30 p.m.

Photos that were posted in local Facebook groups showed at least one semi -truck in flames.
