Two Indian students who were killed in the US street crash mourns the loss of the Indian consulate

The Consulate General of India in New York has expressed “deep sadness” about the tragic death of two Indian students at Cleveland State University. In an explanation of X, the consulate expanded condolences to the families and assured support in this difficult time.

“Deeply sad to learn about the unfortunate street accident, in which two Indian students from Cleveland State University, Manav Patel and Saurav Prabhakar, lost their lives,” the consulate released on X (formerly Twitter).

“Our thoughts and prayers are with their families in this difficult time. The consulate is in contact with the families and has assured them of all possible help.”

Two Indian students from Cleveland State University, Manav Patel (20) and Saurav Prabhakar (23), died tragically on Saturday in a street accident.

According to the Coroner's Office of the Lancaster County, Saurav Prabhakar and the passenger Manav Patel drove when the crash took place in the municipality of East Cocalico at 7 a.m. near Mile Marker.

A vehicle drove from the highway near a bridge, killed two people and injured another, said the state police. The cause of the crash is unknown.
