Guardians 5, Brewers 0: Jackson Chourios Malpost in the field leads to three runs

The Milwaukee Brewers open a series with three games with the Cleveland Guardians at Progressive Field on May 12th.

Freddy Peralta (4-2, 2.18 ERA) has the start for Milwaukee, while Cleveland's Ben Lively (2-2, 3.46) gets the ball.

Freddy Peralta reaches 1,000 career strikes

With a swinging strike by Daniel Schneeemann to end the fifth, Peralta Franchise story made it by reaching 1,000 career strikes by being the fastest pitcher.

Peralta joined Yovani Gallardo, the head of all time with 1,226 strikes, Ben Sheets and Teddy Higuera as the only jug of the franchise that reaches the century mark. However, Peralta achieved it in just 804 2/3 innings and was far the fastest.

It was Peralta's third strike of the night and came to a change while his previous two fast balls were.

Peralta allowed another run with a Kyle Manzardo RBI single in the sixth.

Peralta seemed to go to a lengthy fourth inning when he made Gabriel Arias shyly with two outs.

The only problem? Jackson Chourio initially read badly on the ball and after having struck a banana shell route, he did not reach the ball, giving him a few centimeters above his left shoulder. The miscarriage led to a base closure that cleveland gave the lead 3-0.
