The Texas agency emphasizes resources in the older Texas month

Austin, Texas (Kauz) – The Commission for Health and Human Services in Texas turns to older Texans to help them deal with younger generations.

  • The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) supports people in buying the food they need for good health.
  • Texcise offers free physical activity and nutritional resources to educate, motivate and engage adults aged 45 and over.
  • Age Well Live Well is a nationwide campaign that promotes simple ways to resources and emphasizes how healthy changes with three core amounts can be made: being healthy, being connected and informed.
  • The campaign of their neighbors helps Texans to form and maintain connections to older neighbors.
  • Alternence Texas Well is a strategic planning effort that checks guidelines on older Texans, who evaluates local and state willingness to meet the needs of older adults, and to promote the willingness of the community for growing older adults.
