2x NBA All-Star reacts to Jayson Tatum's injury in Celtics-Knicks game 4

With a serious injury in the defeat of Boston Celtics against the New York Knicks in game 4, Jayson Tatum. If the lower leg was injured, Tatum had to be carried from the ground, letting no weight on the right leg.

The Celtics were double digits in the game and the Knicks stormed behind 39 points from Jalen Brunson, 23 from Mikal Bridges and 20 from OG Anunoby. Before Tatum left the game, he had one of the best performance of his already famous career and scored 42 points on 16-to-28 shootings to achieve 7 three points.

Fan reactions flocked and athletes from the NBA interfered to support the NBA champion and the Olympic gold medalist from 2024 Tatum. This included the former Denver Nuggets Guard and the two-time all-star Isaiah Thomas, who went to social media to react to the devastating injury to his former teammate.

“🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 Tatum,” said Thomas to his X account.

Thomas and Tatum played together for some of the 2016-2017 season with the Boston Celtics, where Thomas was an MVP candidate and had a 52-point game in the conference semi-final against the Washington magician.

For Tatum, it is a devastating injury that most likely sets it for the entire 2025-2026 campaign when it is confirmed that it is an Achilles tear, as speculated. The Celtics have now dropped 3-1 because the series is now moving back to Boston to get a must-win game 5 against the Knicks.
