Who will design Sixers with the third election?

play

You can keep the choice!

The Philadelphia 76ers secured a top selection during the NBA lottery in 2025 and meander the worst fears among the fans that the team's 2024-2025 season was not for anything.

After the hope of an NBA title, the Sixers ended last season with the league's most five -tied record. Now there is now hope that Philly can bring an experienced team to an experienced team, Paul George and Tyrese Maxey, urgently needed youth and sportiness.

See what selection the Sixers got:

What choice did the Sixers hit?

The hearts of Sixers fans probably sank to ESPN during the lottery.

After some confusion after Kevin Negandhi from ESPN – a Philly fan himself – in the middle of the lottery said that Philadelphia would lose the choice, the Sixers secured the number 3 selection in the draft of 2025.

Who has the first choice in the NBA design of 2025?

After the shocking trade in a stopover, in which the team trading star Luka Dončić led to Los Angeles Lakers, the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA draft 2025 received the number of the overall number.

There is hardly any doubt which player Dallas will choose.

Who will be No. 1?

There is hardly any doubt as to which player is selected with the first choice. Consensus No. 1 has been the overall winner Duke Freshman Star Cooper Flagg for months.

The do-it-all Young star led the Blue Devils in gate, crazy, assists and steals. He achieved an average of 19.2 points, 7.5 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.4 blocks and shot 48.1% out of the field, 38.5% on 3-converter and 84% in free throws.

Who will design the Sixers? Top design goals

Well, the Sixers did not have the first choice and the opportunity to design Cooper Flag, but they did not come up empty.

Philadelphia can keep his selection and raised three places in the design. Here is a look at some of the players that you may be aiming at No. 3:

Dylan Harper, Rutgers

  • Neuling, Wache, 6-6, 215, 19
  • 2024-25 statistics: 19.4 ppg, 4.6 RPG, 4.0 APG, 1.4 SPG, 48.4% FG, 33.3% 3PT, 75% FT

The light stroke will remind some of Jalen Brunson, but Harper has a lot of more size and an enormous length with a wingspan of 6-foot 10. Harper's best capital at the next level could be his versatility to run the ball and play the ball. In Rutgers' Lone Big Ten tournament game, Harper had 27 points (9-against-21 shots), eight rebounds, eight assists, two steals and two blocks in a double loss against South California.

Ace Bailey, Rutgers

  • News semester, guard, 6-10, 200, 18
  • 2024-25 statistics: 17.6 ppg, 7.2 RPG, 1.3 APG, 1.3 BPG, 46% FG, 34.6% 3pt, 69.2% FT

Bailey is a hyper-athletic wing with length and size into a league in which the players prioritize that are just as structured as he has with exactly the skills he has: an effortless and reliable shot and an attack mentality with the ability to end at the edge. Must improve as a playmaker on the pass and free throws. But even if the offensive is not easy, it remains active in defense. He had 17 points, seven rebounds, three steals and a block against USC.

VJ Edgecompbe, Baylor

  • Neuling, Wache, 6-5, 180, 19
  • 2024-25 statistics: 15.0 ppg, 5.6 RPG, 3.2 APG, 2.1 SPG, 43.6% FG, 34% 3pt, 78.2% FT

The native Bahamic native has shown his sportiness, showed that he can be explosive and has an elite hand for steals. He will be able to make a contribution at NBA level and can be aggressive on the reason for attack. The newcomer is a high-ranking off-ball goal scorer, but can improve when it comes to the balls' goal. EDGOCOMBE recorded considerable minutes at the end of the season. He had 16 points, six rebounds and a steal in a NCAA tournament in the second round against Duke.

Hen, is the last time Sixers No. 3 selected?

The Sixers selected four times No. 3, also in 2014, when the team selected future MVP Joel Embbiid from Kansas. Here is a look at the other Philadelphia picks at three:

  • Jahlil Okafor, 2015
  • Jerry Stackhouse, 1995
  • Charles Smith (traded on the La Clippers for Hersey Hawkins and a 1989 first choice

Philadelphia also had the third choice in 2017, but exchanged it and a future first choice against the Boston Celtics to Draft Markelle Fultz. The watch of the University of Washington fought mysteriously with shooting and injuries after he was designed and was finally traded at Orlando Magic.

With the third election in 2017, Boston Jayson Tatum met a six-time NBA All-Star and a four-time all-NBA selection.
