The TV series of 'Barbershop', based on films, plays with Jermaine Fowler on the Prime Video to play

A new Hairdresser The series based on the film of the same name is located in Prime Video, with Jermaine Fowler coming onto the market to play in IT. Marshall Todd, who wrote the first film, writes and produces this series.

Max Searle is the co-showrunner and also Executive Produces.

The television adaptation of the franchise revolves around Travis “Trav” Porter (Fowler), who tries to step into the footsteps of his grandfather, a legendary hairdresser at the legendary “Calvin” hairdressing shop in Chicago. And while the hairdressers are new, the business remains just as lively, customers just as argumentative, and the fading are still the dopest in the city – because at Calvin the community comes together more than one haircut.

Other executing producers are Kevin Hart, Bryan Smiley and Mike Stein for Hartbeat; Bradley Gardner; Cameron Burnett and autumn Bailey-Ford for prominent productions; and State Street pictures. Tiffany Brown Co-Executive produced for Hartbeat.

The history of the film franchise “hairdresser shop”

The first Hairdresser The film was released in 2002, directed by Tim Story. The line -up was led by Ice Cube as Calvin Palmer Jr. and also played Anthony Anderson, Sean Patrick Thomas, Eva, Troy Garity, Michael Eail, Keith David, Leonard Earl Howze and Cedric the Entertainer.
