See how Maren Morris is “too good” on “Fallon”

Maren Morris appeared on The Tonight Show To perform her last song “Too Good” and chat with moderator Jimmy Fallon over her new album.

Morris entered the late night show stage with an elaborate set that caused a house in Mountainside and sang the melody behind an artificial bar next to her band. The song sees the Country musician, who advises and go too well, too well, too bored to stay.

“Too Good” appears on Morris's new album, DreamNow over Columbia Records. The LP is its fourth album in full and its first one since 2022 Modest search. It shows all five songs from their 2024 EP pause. She spoke to Fallon about the recording of the songs with producer Jack Antonoff in Electric Lady Studios in New York City.

“I had never written or recorded my entire career in New York,” she said. “It was always Nashville or La. And then it was a time to go to work at Electric Lady. It is just stunning in summer.” She added that she once saw Michael Stipe on the roof of the studio. “I would just see the most amazing people who come in and out,” said Morris.

Morris explained that the LP has a mood of the 1970s because “she heard a lot of stuff that my mother would play in the house”, including Fleetwood Mac. “So it was a kind of dance-Y meeting Laurel Canyon Vibe,” she noticed.

Morris will be to support tours to support Dream During the summer. The hike begins on May 30th in West Hollywood with data in North America until September 26th. The tour includes stops in New York, San Diego, Los Angeles, Jacksonville, St. Louis, Virginia Beach, Nashville, Atlanta and more. In November, Morris begins the European stage of the tour with performances in Dublin, Manchester, London, Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin and more.

“Dream I felt as if it were already translating into a live environment when I wrote the album, “said Maren in an explanation.” The acoustics, layers of harmonies, stacked synthesizer against raw singing; it was brought to life in the studio without an audience, so I am very excited to finally affect these songs and to strengthen them with the energy of a lot. Dreamy experience for fans and for me.
