Warriors' Stephen Curry – “Even if I wanted to be superman, I couldn't”

San Francisco – Warriors superstar Stephen Curry does not expect that he will return on the square for game 5 with Golden State's season on Wednesday, he said on Monday evening and Marc J. Spears from Sscape.

“Even if I wanted to be superman, I couldn't,” said Curry, referring to his left thigh injury.

Curry replied to a comment from teammate Draymond Green that the Warriors and Curry will not try to “Superman” this thing if the star is not completely willing to return.

Without a curry, the Warriors lost the game 4 117-110 to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday. In the semi -finals of the Western Conference 3-1, the Warriors must now win in game 5 in Minneapolis to keep their season alive.

Curry suffered a popular upper limit of the first class in the second quarter of game 1 on May 6th. It will be re -evaluated on Wednesday.

If the Warriors can extend their season, Curry could recover three days on Sunday before a potential game 6 is at home at home.

“No, we won't be a superman,” said Green, when he was asked if he was expecting Curry try to come back, and if so, he would be part of this conversation. “If he is in a place where he can play, I am sure that he will do it. He and Rick [Celebrini, Warriors vice president of player health and performance] And everyone will find out. But we don't need [Curry to try to be] Superhuman.

“I have to play the long game. If he can, we know that he will do it. But there is no pressure. We have to find out how we can win, whether he is playing or not.”

Without Curry, the Warriors in game 4 were reversed in game 4 by a 17-0 run in the third quarter, which turned a game into a wolving route at the age of 68. The Warriors were exceeded 39:17 in the third quarter. Jimmy Butler, who played 43 minutes and had 3 33 points in game, only made nine shots and ended with 14 points and six rebounds in game 4.

Green said Butler felt sick on Monday. Butler, who spoke after almost every game as a warrior this season when the changing room was open to the media. Green said butler “feels pretty crappy all day”.

“We obviously need the ball,” said Green. “But their defense, they collapsed today. So we tried to take this gap. But I know that he doesn't feel good. The whole day it was pretty shitty. That also affects the energy.

“I think that's with me. I have to find a way to put it in more positions to score. I think I only tried to get the ball tonight, and I don't think I got the ball in good places, which was allowed to defend him to do it better.

The Warriors will need Butler at its best to keep their season alive, especially if Curry probably needs more time to recover.

“He wasn't that aggressive this evening,” said Warriors coach Steve Kerr. “But I didn't see many openings either. Ideally, we could shoot more around him to open the floor a little. But with Steph Out we won't be able to do so much of it.

“We will see and see the band where we can find some openings for him. And I know that he will be aggressive for game 5.”

The Wolves Star Guard Anthony Edwards, who had 4 30 points in game, said he wished he was going to play against curry.

“Trust me, man, I wish he could be out there to play against him, no matter how it works,” said Edwards, who played with Curry in the US basketball Olympic team that won gold last summer. “But yes, only when I trained with him in summer, I told him after I hit one [3]. Because he told me, I missed one. He said, 'You won't do that. You were too open. '

“I thought: 'I will never stop shooting her. I learned that from you this summer.' It is the greatest shooter ever.
