Waterloo teen flew into phelps after two cars

A 19-year-old Waterloo woman was flown to the Strong Memorial Hospital on Sunday evening after an accident with two vehicles in the city of Phelps.

The collision occurred at the intersection of County Road 6 and the State Route 96, when 18-year-old Destiny Robinson from Clifton Springs tried to left a left-wing curve and not the right to a vehicle driven by Marissa Ohrn, 19, from Waterloo to the east.

Oharn suffered serious but not life -threatening injuries and was brought to Rochester by Mercy Flight. Her passenger, the 18-year-old Mackenzie Shafer of Lyons, was brought to the Strong Memorial Hospital by Phelps ambulance to evaluate and treat non-life-threatening injuries.

Robinson was brought to the Clifton Springs Hospital by finger Lakes Ems, also with non -life -threatening injuries.

The MPs issued Robinson a ticket to turn the right to left before the path. Ohrearn was driven with a ticket for failure of a seat belt.

The crash is examined. The Sheriff's office in Ontario County was supported by the New York State Police, the Oaks Corner's Fire Department, Phelps EMS and Finger Lakes EMS.
