Kristapaps Porzingis reveals a helpful disease update to Jayson Tatum injury

New York – The next time the Celtics take the court, they will probably be a completely different version of their defending champion themselves. Jayson Tatum's injury in her defeat in game 4 against the Knicks not only dissolved, but also raises some doubts about these playoffs.

The severity of Tatum's severity is unclear at this time because it is to receive an MRI on Tuesday. But in the meantime, the Celtics can do anything to keep their season in game 5 on Wednesday against the Knicks. Fortunately, Kristaps Porzingis had a positive and potentially helpful disease update after game 4.

“Tonight was the first time that I honestly felt decent,” said Porzingis. “Just everything. My energy, I was more likely to be increased and didn't have my best game anyway. But my energy was good and I felt that I was a little more up and down, that was positive.”

Porzingis came back from the bank in game 4, but he played in 24 minutes, which has been the most against magic since game 3 of the first round. He ended with seven points and four rebounds and shot 2: 6 off the field. Porzingis had some nice moments and collected three offensive rebounds, even though he was still fighting for distances.

Regardless of this, the Celtics will need significantly more from the point of view of the porzingis production. The loss of Tatum for an elimination game makes the rest of the squad significantly more pressure.

“We are adults,” said Porzingis. “Who did not have any injuries? It is part of this sport, part of this game, and of course we feel for him. But we have to go forward. He doesn't want us to be sad and not play our best basketball. So we will go out there and let everything out there and live with the results.”

Porzingis cited the disease as “super strange” because it was a problem that had been stuck to him for months. He revealed that he could sleep for 12 hours because his body needed all the time to relax. But he described it as a serious fatigue in his muscles when he tries to do everything to be ready for the intensity of the playoff games.

While Porzingis feels better, the results on the pitch have to change so that the Celtics have a chance. When he fought against this injury, it is not only limited its availability, but also his game. Since the Celtics stare the excretion directly in the face, Porzingis has to be one of the boys to improve the game on Wednesday on Wednesday.

“We have a lot of talent,” said Porzingis. “Even if JT Out, even I play for 10-15 minutes, we have the boys and we have shown in the past that we can still play basketball really well. Obviously there is no substitute for this guy for this guy, no? How, that's a great success for us, 100%.
