Five people, including three teenagers and two adults, were taken to the hospital after a crash in Colchestra on Sunday afternoon.

The state police said a driver in a Kia soul and a Nissan Rouge collected at 3:17 p.m. at the crossing of the Parum Road and Lake Hayward Road.

The state police said that the driver of the Kia, an 18-year-old colchester man, was brought to the Backus Hospital.

The 14-year-old passenger in the Kia was brought to the Hartford Hospital.

A 15-year-old girl who was in the back seat may have serious injuries, according to the state police and was brought to Connecticut Children.

The driver, a 70-year-old colchester man and a passenger, a 66-year-old colchester woman who were in the Nissan, were brought to the Backus Hospital.

The state police said that the driver of the Kia carried out a stop sign due to the preliminary investigation.
