Woman who was convicted of death during death during the drug agreement

Fondu LAC (WLUK) – The suspect in a murder during an argument about a drug agreement was convicted on Tuesday for low charges.

The 21 -year -old Annaka Trudell was convicted of ruthless murder's first degree – use of a dangerous weapon and conspiracy to commit an armed robbery in February 2024 that stabbed Ashley Calo's death. Eric Toney, District Prosecutor of Fond du Lac County, announced the convictions on Tuesday.

The public prosecutor said Calo was killed while Trudell tried to buy 57 percococet pills for $ 250 to $ 500. The 33 -year -old Calo was found dead in a car after crashing near W. Follett and N. Main Street. Calos 3-year-old child was in the vehicle at that time. The child was not physically damaged.

“This is a devastating example of the dangers of drug addiction, which illustrates that addiction is not a sacrificial burden, with a dead woman and her little child going without a mother,” said Toney in a explanation. “We will continue our efforts, aggressively work with our law enforcement partners to combat drug and violent crimes in our community.”

Dawson Miller, the murder, armed robbery and other counts, is also accused in the case. He did not know his guilty. His process is scheduled to begin on October 6th.

After the criminal complaint, the police found that Trudell and Miller had taken precautions to buy drug drugs, but planned to rob them instead.

No sentence date was set for Trudell. She returns to court for a status conference on July 25th.
