The municipality of Barberton continues to estimate the city workers who were killed in 2005

The Barberton community continues to estimate the life of a man who was killed in a hit-and-run in 2005.

Bob Krska worked for the city of Barberton and was involved in a fatal hit and run during his work on January 5, 2005.

Krska's daughter Ashley Hernandez said everyone in the community had a connection to him and his death shocked the city.

Last Saturday, a softball field and its entire complex behind KRSKA and its legacy devoted themselves to.

“It is simply an honor for me and my family, you know how to drive here, and only other people who drive through here, and even children … play baseball, they can step on these fields … I have the feeling that they will have a little piece of my father with them while playing ball,” said Hernandez.

Hernandez said such a dedication feels particularly important because Krska and his identical twin grew up together and played softball.
