Subsea 7, Onesubsea -Score work on the BP gas project before Trinidad

The members of the Subsea Integration Alliance, Subsea 7 and SLBS Onesubsea, were awarded Supermajor BP for the Ginger Project Offshore Trinidad and Tobago for the Ginger Project Offshore Trinidad and Tobago.

Work on the project takes place as part of the new global framework contract between BP and the partners of the Subsea Integration Alliance. The frame defines a new commercial model that effectively organizes the incentives for accelerated and maximized added value of all participants throughout the life of joint projects.

For the Ginger EPCI project, Subsea7 delivers a various tie-in system, a flexible production current and the associated infrastructure.

Onesubsea delivers four standardized vertical monobor underwater trees and hose bars, which are optimized for the delivery speed and installation. The first highly integrated pressure protection system in the region will also deliver.

BP's ginger gas development is located in front of the southeast coast of the island of Trinidad in water depths of up to 90 m. Project management and engineering activities begin immediately in the Subsea7 office in Houston, Texas, and offshore operations are planned for 2026.

Financial details have not been fully disclosed. However, it was described as a considerable offer that places it in the range of 150 to 300 million US dollars.
