Lindsay Kuhle, which was observed in the WGCA National Coach of the Year

Lawrence, Kan. – Kansas Women's Golf Coach Lindsay Kuhle was appointed to Division I Jackie Steinmann WGCA National Coach of the Year, which was presented by the Golf Pride Watch List and was announced on Tuesday by the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA).

In just her fourth season in Kansas, Kuhlle led the Jayhawks to a program season record of six team titles and five individual titles in 2024-25, which was highlighted by Kansas and in the second year Lyla Louderbaugh Winning the first NCAA regional championships of the program Sowohl team as well as individuals. With their first place at the NCAA Columbus regionally last week, the Jayhawks secured their third NCAA championship appearance in the program history and their first since 2014.

Kansas led Kansas to a national rank number 23 in the WGCA survey, the highest ranking of the end of the season in the program history for the club. The Jayhawks are also 21st place in the scoreboard in the clippd survey. In the 2024-25 season, the Kuhle team conquered five individual titles, including three of Lauren Clark and one through Lily Hirst and Louderbaugh. Clark was also included in the All-Big 12 First Team and received Big 12 Golfer of the Month in February.

Kuhle and the Jayhawks will be up to date for their third NCAA championship appearance in the program history on May 16 to 21 at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa's Champions course.

The Jackie Steinmann WGCA National Coach of the Year presented by Golf Pride, who is recognized as the highest annual trainer in the Collegiate Golf for women, is awarded annually to the top coach in Division I, III III and Naia Women's Golf.

The award winner will be announced after the upcoming NCAA championship.
