RS1.59 billion currency, dollar, gold won

Peshawar: In a dramatic breakthrough in the financial scandal of 40 billion RS in Kohistan, the investigators in Pakistani currencies, US dollars and gold have restored an amazing 1.59 billion rupees in the amount of 1.59 billion rupees during the raids of the residences of key thinnings.

Among the examinations examined are high -ranking government officials and contractors, since the authorities intensify and expand the scope of the probe.

The Kohistan scandal was first reported on April 30th, which caused a stir nationwide. The exam also confirmed corruption and the public account committee (PAC) took measures on the scandal.

According to sources, 12 suspicious raids were carried out in the houses, which are involved in one of the largest financial scandals in Pakistan's history. Their names are kept confidential for the time being to avoid obstacles in the investigation and relaxation.

So far, around 50 people have been questioned and the examination is expanded to cover another 100 people. The most important revelations – including the identity of the most important figures in the center of the scandal – will probably come to the surface in the coming days.

Sources said that in the houses and offices of 12 officers, civil servants and contractors in various cities in the Hazara department, including Abbottabad, Mansehra and other raids, were carried out.

Three kilograms of gold were recovered from the houses of three people, while 50,000 US dollars were recovered by a house. Overall, the Pakistani currency is reclaimed 1.5 billion rupees from the houses of 12 suspects. The value of the three kilograms of gold from three houses is estimated on more than 80 million rupees. Similarly, the Pakistani currency is the 50,000 US dollar to approx. 1.39 million rupees. Therefore, a total recovery of 1.59 billion rupees was achieved, while 10 billion rupees were previously frozen. The C&W, the district accounts, as well as employees and officials from the government bank, include those whose houses were restored. Similarly, cash from the houses of some contractors were withdrawn.
