Around 4:47 p.m., a semi-trailer truck and an SUV near the Taft Highway (Highway 119) collided in the Coles Levee Road, west of the I-5, and set fire to the SUV. Grass was said to be on fire near the scene of the crash. According to reports, good Samaritans tried to extinguish the fire.

The cause of the crash is examined. Avoid the area if possible.

Chp Buttonwillow said on social media that the lanes of Highway 119 were blocked due to the fatal crash near the Tupman Road.
