This feels like a video game, week 5 on the PCT

I am back when I can publish the weekly updates. There is not much mobile service service on trail and the time spent in cities are full of tasks, rest and go to eat. This was week 5, I hope you continue to follow while I update the posts.

We started the day slowly and made our way to the famous McDonalds, which are only 0.3 miles away from the trail. Our plan was to camp beforehand so that we could have breakfast there, but we arrived early enough where we could eat dinner and then return to the camp. On the starting point next to McDonals we came across double trail magic. A guy called Jay made Tacos out of the trunk of his car and a group of trail runners made fresh pasta salad, drinks, fruit and chips. To mention unnecessarily that we did not eat in McDonalds. But we will have breakfast tomorrow. We saw our first rattlesnake today.

Jay, the trail gel that made Tacos out of his trunk.

We woke up early to come to McDonalds for breakfast. From there, a trail angel brought us to Wrightwood after re -trial. We went to the grocery store and the next hardware store, which is aimed at hikers. You have a registration and a trail angel contact, you have an area with equipment for hikers, a hiking box, an area in which you charge your electronics and you give out pins, but you were on the way when we arrived there. After stopping in Wrightwood, we received a trip that brought us two miles of Vincent Gap, where we connect with the PCT again. From there we started our climb to Mt. Baden Powell. We stored 0.6 miles from the summit, which
The view was beautiful.

We started near Mt Baden Powell and passed Little Jimmy Campingsite. Then Mt. Williamson Climb came, which always felt. After we had come to the PCT section on the other side, which is closed to protect the endangered hillbone frog. The detour meant that we had to take the street for a few miles and then had to connect to the PCT with a side path. We managed to drive a trip to cut our road walk into half. We then ended our day at Cooper Canyon Camp, an established primitive campsite with a stream that flows next to it, fire foci and a pit toilet.

The next day we had another detour, but this time it was unintentional. We landed in a Christian camp. After we found our way back to the trail, we continued to hike, while this army always circled the mountains in which we were. We ended the day on a Saddle campsite, where we had an amazing sunset and sunrise.

The next day was uneventful, full of bubbles and not a lot of water. We woke up the next morning the next morning to make it to the city of Acton before the mail was completed. We had a replenishment box there. We were in Acton in one night to camp behind the 49 Saloon, a restaurant that matters and where I had the best burger on the way so far. They let us camp in their back yard, where they have shower, manual cloth capsules, a fridge and a hiking box.

Laundry

According to Acton, we wanted to hike through the Vazquez rock and immediately after getting into the city of Agua Dulce, ten miles from Acton. The Vazquez Rocks are famous for being presented in many films

We started our day late on a thunderstorm that should end at noon. At 12:30 p.m. we left Acton and started hiking, only celebrated at 30 minutes later. The hail was in rain for the rest of the day. The path was very muddy through Vazquez -Felsen. This combined with my IT band, which set up and gave me knee pain, made us very slow. While we drove past Agua Dulce that night, we lived in Hker Oasis, a campsite in the city for PCT hikers. It has a shop for supplies, laundry and showers.

Along the tail we find these figures again and again, which sometimes also have encouragement messages for hikers. These together with the fact that we wear the same clothes every day go everywhere with a few side quests in cities everywhere, I feel like a video game, similar to Zelda
