The PGA championship, the second major championship of the year of the Professional Golf of the Year, is on its way to Quail Hollow in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Scottie Scheffler from Highland Park is on the hunt to win his third big title and to banish the spirits of his arrest at the event of last year in Valhalla. A field with Nordexas ties wants to make a name for a name beyond the golfer No. 1 in the world.

Ludvig Aberg, a Tech product from Texas, and Bryson Dechambeau from the SMU are among the top competitors. Dallas' Jordan Spieth, a three-time great champion, entered the week to complete the career grand Slam after Rory Mcilroy did this with the Masters.

2024 PGA championship result

Xander Schauffele won his first career major and made 21 under four rounds in the Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Kentucky last year. He won the tournament Wire-to-Wire and defeated the former Smu-Golfer Bryson Decimbeau with a birdie on the 72nd hole of the tournament.

The tournament is also unforgettable for the incident on Friday morning, in which Scottie Scheffler was arrested before his second round. World No. 1 was brought into prison and released before his morning tee on this day. He drove 66 on this day before ending in eighth place with a tie.
