Dodgers place Roki Sasaki on the injured list with an injury

The Los Angeles Dodgers placed the right -handed Krug Roki Sasaki on Tuesday on the injured list with a right shoulder. Manager Dave Roberts revealed that Sasaki had to do with arm pain and the team thought about puting him on the IL.

In a corresponding step, the Dodgers reminded the right -handed JP Feyereisen.

Sasaki has an ERA of 4.42 and 1.485 whip over eight starts this season. The last start of the rookies against the Arizona Diamondback felt as if after the end of the excursion to four innings, in which he gave up five deserved runs, two walks and no rashes.

The fast ball of the right -hander, which was once so electrically in Nippon Professional Baseball, did not go against Arizona. Roberts admitted that he was concerned about Sasaki's lack of command.

“Because if you have no speed when you talk about 98, 99 (MPH), the command will become more priority,” said Roberts. “If you are in the mid -90s, 94 years old, you really have to command the baseball. That is what we will work on as a group. Roki understands that. And that is still his first season here, so there must be grace because he learns this league and somehow sees.”

Dodgers Pitching Coach Mark Prior Prior recently spoke about the process to remedy some of Sasaki's latest editions on the hill, including his command and a reduced speed.

“There were many discussions about many different things,” said Prior. “Again we go with him every week and we tried to shed light on things that we believe that there will be an improvement. But in the end I think that only he tries to get its reason and feel in what he is doing.”

While the cause of Sasakis remains on the hill, the Dodgers now have three starters who opened the season in the rotation on the IL. Sasaki, Blake Snell and Tyler Glasnow are currently equipped with different injuries.
