Ex-First Lady skipped the public prosecutor's survey about the influence-pedding scandal

Seoul, May 14th (Yonhap)-the former First Lady Kim Kim Keon Hee refused to appear on Wednesday before law enforcement, and defied a summons for surveys in the 2022 parliamentary elections.

The public prosecutor's office of the Seoul Central District had asked the ex-first lady to appear as a suspect at 9 a.m., but Kim did not meet the question of summoning.

In the past on Tuesday, Kim filed an apology letter for her non -monitor and said that it could affect public opinion before the upcoming presidential elections.

Kim is charged

The former First Lady was also accused of participating in the PPP's candidates for the local elections 2022 and the parliamentary elections in 2024.

The public prosecutor is planning to check the next preliminary date for KIM, and at the same time consider an arrest warrant to capture it if it opposed repeated summons without legitimate reasons.

“If (KIM) decides to defy all inquiries, we will thoroughly review your argument and take appropriate measures in accordance with the common procedure,” said an official from the public prosecutor.
