The Australian Human Rights Commission expires attachments from web shapes

The Australian Human Rights Commission has accidentally leaked around 670 documents that were submitted via webforms, where they were indicated by search engines.




In a statement, the Commission said that “around 100” of the documents were most likely accessed by search results.

The violation was uncovered on April 10 and led to the attachment function in the web form.

First of all, the Commission suspected that only attachments were affected to support symptoms in one month of this year.

During the investigation, however, it was found that attachments to various web shapes have been leaked since October 2021.

The web shapes have been set up for various projects, including awards and “concept papers” in which the commitment was sought.

“Many of the attachments contain personal information,” said the Commission in a notification.

“Some attachments do not contain any personal information and others contain information that is already publicly available.

“We have taken measures to tackle the disclosure, including relevant documents from search engines.
