The state of Ohio, Ryan Day Trending for the nation's top security

It is believed that the state of Ohio cited the prosecution of the nation's highest security if it has an intensive recruitment battle in 2026 in the 2026 cycle.

The Buceyes combined a national championship run last season with an elite recruitment class in the cycle 2025. This group took number 5 in the country (On3) and paints a bright picture for the trajectory on the recruitment path.

It is still very early in the cycle of 2026, but the buckeyes have the swing with 13 commits, including two five-star class, the No. 3 of the nation behind the USC and LSU.

And the state of Ohio is expected to add an elite talent to the group before the start of the 2025 season, since Bralan Womack continues to be a priority before his commitment date on August 22.

According to Chad Simmons and Steve Wiltfong from On3, the Buckeyes are preferred to land Womack about Florida, Texas A & M and Auburn.

Womack (6-foot, 200 pounds) plays for the Hartfield Academy in Brandon, Mississippi. It is considered No. 1 security, the No. 2 player in the state and the recruit of No. 12 in the class (On3 sector ranking).

Womack earned the Mississippi Gatorade player of the year as a junior after led the Hartfield Academy to a second Mais class 6a championship in a row.

He achieved a total of 39 duels and eight interceptions, while he added 54 catches for 1,045 yards and 13 touchdowns on the offensive. Womack also recorded two touchdowns as a returnee.

Womack holds a zero rating of 364,000 US dollars that enters his senior season.

“The state of Ohio is currently the school for Bralan Womack,” Wiltfong wrote on Tuesday. “It is close to his recruitment at the other schools to change this on official visits, but the buckeyes are faced with the country's security.”

Womack will have a few months before making his decision. He is to make official visits to Florida (May 30), Texas A & M (June 6) and Auburn (June 13) before taking another trip to Ohio State on June 20.
