'Sew Torn' gives Calum a crash course in bad decisions that are worth it

Who knew that sewing and the solution to crime were a match?

“Sew Torn”, a unique Swiss set thriller, is approaching a number of seamless connections, while his oppressed seamstress heroine Barbara Duggen (Eva Connolly) plans to keep her fabric business from closing.

When she travels to replace a missing button for a client on her wedding day, Barbara stumbles on a drug business that has been littered on an abandoned street that is not littered with one but two depressed motorcyclists, weapons and a briefcase.

She has three options: crime the perfect crime, call the police or drive away.

What “Sew Torn” does – yes, the title is a pun – is as unusual that we see the deadly confrontations that follow every choice, since Barbara repeats her needle and thread to free herself.

All elaborate refugees and clever phrases resulting from Barbara's sewing skills were rotated when they really happened on the set. Months later, no digital magic was added.

Calum Worthy is Joshua, one of the two crashed motorcyclists who is intended not to have a happy day.

“Joshua is doing a lot,” said the 34 -year -old Worth in a zoom interview. “I want to spoil nothing but one of the great secrets in history: how did he get there? And what is he trying to escape?

“Because he is anxious, he is nervous and he feels doomed to fail. What was so interesting is how the story is divided into these different segments. It is almost several short films in this one narrative story.

“You get a bit of each individual. When you have ended every chapter, you will learn a little more about every character. Finally, you understand how all the pieces of the puzzle get together – because it is really a mystery.

“For Joshua, the journey in each of these three stories has sprinkled and they learn a little more every time. Therefore, every story reflects the other than a different view.

“Perspective changes in every scene – this is really the topic. This idea of decisions and how a choice can influence another and take your life on a completely different trip.

“How life can offer you opportunities and every possibility can bring you to a wild adventure. Or you can simply ignore it and go away.

“What makes this a strong story are the characters who make strong decisions. I think a film that is thematically with the decision was a strong choice for history.”

As for Worthy's sewing skills?

The answer is emphatically: “None. If I had to sew, I would have ruined the film.”
