Another EV launchup is about to death

Remeber Bollinger Motors? The last time we checked in at the EV startup, a lawsuit against Munro in Great Britain was submitted for patent infringement. Before that, the company decided to move away from the plans to build its blocked B1 -SUV and B2 pickup in favor of a large commercial vehicle called B4. Well, everything could come to an end.

According to reports, the company is reported to the liquidation, as loud Automobile messages. The founder and former CEO of the company, Robert Bollinger, filed a lawsuit on March 21 and claimed that he was $ 10 million. Bollinger resigned from the company in June 2024; It currently owns Mullen Automotive Inc. in California.

The lawsuit claims that Bollinger issued a loan of USD 10 million that required regular interest payments, and these payment terms were not fulfilled. Automobile messages Reports Bollinger asked the company to secure all assets that were due to the loan. Apparently, representatives of Mullen did not report a court hearing on May 7 on this matter, so that the judge grants the application for reception failure.

This means that all Bollinger Motors' assets are now frozen, including an unknown number of B4 trucks that are gathered and are waiting for buyers. In addition, Robert Bollinger is apparently not the only one that takes legal action on this matter. Automobile messages Claims at least two other lawsuits in which suppliers are involved are also in the mix. The appointed recipient has 30 days from the date of the decision to submit a plan for Bollinger Motor to pay its debts, which could include a complete liquidation of the company.

In an e -mail Motor1The President and CEO of Bollinger Motors, Bryan Chambers, submitted the following explanation:

“We cannot comment on the result of the court procedure at this time. During this time we focus on developing ourselves further and are still obliged to bring our customers a first -class vehicle.

“We continue to work with our dealers to sell and operate Bollinger B4. We have temporarily stopped production while we are preparing for the current market conditions and the plan for the production of the 2026 model year.”

A brief review of the Bollinger Motors website shows a press release of April 29, in which a Bollinger B4 sale was announced to the Lower East Side Ecology Center in New York. Another press release says “Multiple” Bollinger B4 sales to Envirocharge on April 15, whereby the first one will be released in California at Expo Clean Trucking (ACT) from April 28th.
