The worst fears of Yankees confirmed after cruel Oswaldo Cabrera injury

Seattle -In several waves late Monday evening, many Yankees players and shots went to the HarborView Medical Center to visit Oswaldo Cabrera.

The club's third Baseman had just broken his left ankle on a cruel game on the plate in the ninth in the ninth of the victory against the Mariners in the T-Mobile Park, but when the Yankees entered his hospital room, they found the same Cabrera as always.

“Classic Cabby, he was in astonishing atmosphere and let us see all of us,” said manager Aaron Boone on Tuesday. “I would say he is fine. To be honest, it's Cabby. He smiled, happy and trusted that he is in good hands.”

In the coming days, Cabrera and the Yankees will receive more information about which one has to do with and how long he will be outside.

He flew back to New York via the private jet of the Steinbrenner family on Tuesday and will be a foot and Kneis specialist Dr. See Justin Geseng to see further tests and evaluation with an operation on Thursday in the game.

It was not immediately clear whether Cabrera suffered band damage next to the broken ankle, but that could be clear during the operation.

“All in all, the early rounds of things, consider good news – they did not have to do emergency operations and things like that,” said Boone. “Hopefully we will know exactly in the next few days what we are dealing with and start the repaired process.

“If and when they are operated on, they will go in there and get a better idea if they are there exactly what is needed, and then we will see.”

The injury occurred when Cabrera hit a victim fly, but he had to convince a label on a throw on the line, and when he turned back to the plate, his ankle spent out while marking home.

The head coach Tim Lentych immediately ran to Cabrera, who banged on the floor with pain and hit the dirt. Lentych essentially born him when other medical staff demanded the ambulance from midfield.

The Yankees put Cabrera on Tuesday on the 10-day, injured list-a process train and probably a forerunner for the 60-day injury list and activated DJ Lemahieu of it after the veteran information had missed the first one and a half months of the season with a calf burden.
