Arrest in Pee Dee Nightclub shooting that killed the security officer, says Sheriff

Florence County, SC (WMBF) – The Sheriff of Florence County shares an update about the examination of a fatal shootout in a night club.

Sheriff Tj Joye confirmed that the MP Brandon Cross arrested in connection with Sunday shooting in Qulture -Bistro. The prison's records show that the MPs were crossed under a suspicion of murder on Tuesday evening.

The forensic doctor of Florence County, Keith von Lutcken, said that the security officer Melvin Gibson, 39, died from Florence at the shootout. The forensic doctor added that there were six more shot victims.

Gibson's family told MMBF News that he was a loving father of four children, a hard worker and friendly to everyone.

Joye said a group with earlier run-ins with Gibson was inserted into the club. However, Gibson knew that the group was trouble and would not let it go in.

Then Joye said that the group went to the parking lot and got three weapons and there was a shootout that made Gibson dead.

Joye added that more arrests in this case are likely.
