The engineer of Nasa Glenn emphasizes research on missions for Hubble Servicing

April 24th was the 35th anniversary of the NASA Hubble world space telescope. The iconic space observatory remains a well-known name das on the well-recognized and scientifically productive telescope in history. The engineers of the Glenn Research Center of NASA in Cleveland played an important role in the functioning of the telescope today.

The researchers of NASA Glenn helped all five missions for Hubble Servicing by testing damaged insulation, finding out why they were broken down in space, and the recommendation of replacement materials.

One of these researchers, Kim de Groh, Senior Materials Research Engineer, shared some of these research in a special presentation in the Great Lakes Science Center, the home of NASA GLEN VISITITER Center, in Cleveland on May 8th.
