Two horses in Eddington, Maine, Crash – NBC Boston killed

Two horses died on Tuesday in a serious car accident in central -Main, the authorities said.

Around 2 p.m. on Tuesday, the office of the Sheriff of the Penobscot district stated on a report on a serious crash on Route 9 in Eddington. When they arrived, the emergency team found that a truck that had deported a fifth bike trailer had deviated from the street.

The truck was collided with a large tree, which took away the truck and developed, which led to further collisions with other trees.

At the time of the crash, two horses were transported in the trailer. Sheriff's MPs, firefighters and good Samaritans worked together to try to help the seriously injured horses, but one died immediately and the second had to be put to sleep due to the seriousness of his injuries.

The driver of the vehicle was brought to a regional hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries, said the sheriff department.

The Sheriff's office in Penobscot County was supported by the Fire Brigade of Eddington, the Ministry of Transport by Maine, a local towing company, several good Samaritators and a veterinarian.
