The tragedy unfolded at 2 a.m. when the police from neighbors who reported to hear what exploded like a bomb, received a flood of 911 calls.

Another resident, Jimmy Gibson, said ABC 6 that he could not believe how quickly the house had risen into flames after the initial explosion, which he called the “really loud boom”.

“The whole house was already on fire, so quickly as soon as the explosion took place,” he said.

Two nearby houses were also damaged in the fire, the authorities said.

The corpses of the victims were called out of the house after the inferno was poured over by first aiders.
