Video shows the holy week procession, not Catholics, the Pope Francis honors

As royals, presidents and hundreds A video was shared by a thousand Catholic believers who drove to Rome after the death of Pope Francis. In fact, the clip shows a traditional procession in the Holy Week in Malaga in southern Spain, days before the 88-year-old leader of the Catholic Church died.

The video shows dozens of people in white robes who carry a big swimmer down a street that is lined with spectators.

“Goodbye from the leader of the Catholic Church, Pope Francis,” says the text that is overlaid on the clip.

The video was created after Pope Francis died of a stroke and, according to his death certificate published by the Vatican on April 21 (archived link), caused a coma and an “irreversible” heart failure. The 88-year-old Catholic leader had spent five weeks in the hospital, where he almost succumbed to double pneumonia.

His coffin was located in St. Peter's Basilica for three days, where tens of thousands of mourners paid their last respect on April 26 (Archived here and here).

The same video was too Sounded together with similar requirements on YouTube, Facebook and Instagram.

But it shows no mourners that they pay respect for Pope Francis.

According to the post office, the video shows a procession during the Holy Week in the South Spanish city of Malaga.

The Holy Week begins on Palm Sunday – which fell this year on April 13 – when Christians remember Jesus Triumphal's entry into Jerusalem, followed only a few days later through his court hearing, the crucifixion and death by the Romans and his resurrection on Easter Sunday.

In Spain, the week is characterized by dozens of parades with elaborate swimmers with a life -size statues of Jesus and the Virgin Mary, accompanied by hundreds of penitents who have traditionally flowering robes and have covered their heads of unmistakable pointed hoods (archived link).
