Georgia defeated Kennesaw State

Georgia wins his last game of the week of the season against the rival Kennesaw State 9-2.

Kennesaw State had a quick start and was at the top of the first board when Nate Anderson achieved third place. Georgia did not waste time with the reaction when Kolby Branch put an RBI single to the left field to tie the game.

Slate Alford gave Georgia the lead in the lower end of the second with a double left field line. Alford has recently swung a hot bat and today showed no signs that they cooled down.

The Bulldogs added two other runs in the third and fifth, with the kind permission of a Daniel Jackson victim and Nolan McCarthy on a wild field. Robbie Burnett crushed a second 18th Homerun to the right at the end of the sixth and reached the score 6: 1.

Georgia added three other runs in the seventh, with an RBI double from Brennan Hudson and an RBI triple by Slate Alford. Brennan Hudson now has seven goals in his career in Georgia, and all seven were for additional bases.

Georgia is on the way to Columbia this weekend to get a series against Last Place Missouri Tigers. The first playing field of the first game is planned for Friday at 7 p.m.
