The Evergreen Community Library emphasized events at the end of May 2025



Metamora, Ohio – The Evergreen Community Library in the 253 Maple Street invites the community to take part in various appealing activities at the end of May 2025.

Tales to Treasure Story Time On Wednesday, May 28th, at 10:30 a.m., small children can come to Ms. Laura for a story and craft with butterfly motifs. These weekly Wednesday sessions at 10:30 a.m. promote early literacy and creativity in a funny, inviting environment.

Foundation Fitness+ Class Adults can improve mobility and balance with Foundation Fitness+ on Wednesday, May 28th, from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m., led by Eileen Seegert, this free chair and standing training program is limited to 10 participants and marks the last class before the summer break. Call the library to reserve your place.

End of the library to the Memorial Day The library will be closed on Monday, May 26

The Book Club discussion will join the Book Club on Wednesday, May 28th, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. to discuss “A Flicker in the Dark” by Stacy Willingham. Copies are available in the library and everyone is welcome to share the lively conversation.

The registration of the summer reading program for the summer reading program begins on Monday, May 26th online or personally. Read the reading protocols on June 9th and take part in the Art Hour together with special summer events on Mondays at 11 a.m. or Wednesdays at 4 p.m.

Call by local craftsmen. The library is looking for local craftsmen to present their work during the summer reading program that focuses on art forms.

Interested craftsmen can apply personally or send an e -mail to lschwab@evergreenlibrary.org with their name, your website or your product details to advertise local talents.

Library lessons and leadership The library is Monday and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Saturday, 10 p.m. to 2 p.m.

The board of trustees comprises President Gregg Simon, Vice President Suzi Holland, Secretary Denise Decker, and trustee Michael Fischer, Cheryl Geer, Debra Langenderer and Cindy Vance. Carrie Hulett serves as a director with Abigail Bieber as a financial officer.
