Finneas crushes Kate Hudson in Spacey '2001' video

The new single functions on his second album, For crying!Published last year

Finneas is an actor in love who plays an astronaut on the big screen while he falls unhappily falling in love with his director outside the screen. Directed by Claudia Sulewski, the singer-songwriter plays together with Kate Hudson in his new music video for “2001”.

The infectious longing trail begins with an allusion to Pink Floyd when Finneas sings: “Place on the dark side of the moon/with an unbeatable view of a table for two.” The video reflects the texts through its jensious topic when the camera between scenes from Finneas against a green screen, its fruitless attempt to record its director (Hudson), and the musician who is caught in a life -size diorama of the solar system draws attention.

Sulewski said in a explanation that she looked at the conception of the video “a tribute to a homage 2001: A Space OdysseyIncluding “nod on some of the best-known setups of the film such as the fishye lens and the wrong sequence”. She added: “In order to play Finnes texts, I wanted to mix some light, cheeky moments between Finneas and Kate. An actor who hopelessly falls in love with his director, who is no less interested in and only focuses on making a great film.”

As a 10-time Grammy winner, the video comes up with a headliner tour in Great Britain, Europe, New Zealand, Australia and North America this year to support their second studio album. For loudly cryingPublished in October. Finneas will return to Europe this summer to festival performances in
