Video shows Miami Building partially collapse, just missing car – NBC 6 Südflorida

The surveillance video shows that the overhang of a building collapses on a busy street in Miami on Wednesday and just as a passing vehicle is missing.

The partial collapse occurred before 4:30 p.m. in an abandoned building in 7th Avenue near the 32nd street between Wynwood and Allapattah.

In the video, the building collapsed in just three seconds, with rubble, wood, concrete and metal fell off. It just misses a car that broke into the opposite track. Other cars behind it also had to move away from the rubble.

Miami Fire Rescue reacted to the scene and carried out a thorough search for captured victims.

The website was considered very clearly. The inspectors also found other structural damage and evacuated a residence in the back as a precaution in a secondary breakdown. A family of three lived there and will stay with relatives.

The shop next to the building was just 15 minutes earlier.

The commissioner for this area also came out on site and said that the abandoned building had previously been quoted due to uncertain conditions.

Officials spent hours cleaning the rubble and part of the street was closed as a precaution.
