Quincy Elementary Teacher becomes viral for healthy social media videos

Samantha Landwehr is a first class teacher for Quincy Public School, who became viral when she was pregnant to her baby in her belly for her students' reaction video.

She said she had a tikok “just for fun” and did not expect the video to attract so much attention.

“A positive video becomes viral in view of a group of negativity in the world, I really keep cool,” said Landwehr.

Landwehr's Tiktok is full of videos that show their teaching experience from their students as it is to be a teacher in the first class and her personal journey through life-an impression of pregnancy and teacher.

She said her students showed great interest in their pregnancy trip. She brought them ultrasound, and the students got on her to make sure that she was doing well.

“When I found out that I was pregnant, the school year just started, so they went through the whole trip with me, which is really something special,” said Landwehr.

When the baby moved during a mathematics session, it stopped to record its reactions. In the video, the children can snap for air, laugh and tell the baby that he should do it again.

Landwehr had her baby named Hazel on April 17th and is now on maternity leave. Her husband is also a teacher and the new family will spend a summer break with connecting.

“We have so much together this summer that is really fun,” said Landwehr.

But her heart is still teaching.

“I'll teach August again. I'm happy about it, even though I will miss her [Hazel]I love my job and I look forward to coming back, “said Landwehr.
