Steph Curry's injury speaks after the playoff elimination of Warriors

The Golden State Warriors ended on Wednesday evening when the Minnesota Timberwolves won the series in five games, but it felt like it was long over. After Steph Curry's thigh injury was diagnosed as a strain on game 1, the Warriors needed a miracle if they wanted to stay alive long enough to bring him back into the series.

Unfortunately they came up shy, but it is not foreseeable whether he would have been good for game 6, as many reports stated. Now that the two-time MVP was 37 years old and didn't have much time in his career, Warriors coach Steve Kerr took some time to tackle the situation with Curry's absence.

“Injuries are part of the playoffs,” said Kerr. “I learned a long time ago that the playoffs are really about health … We were at both ends … I don't want to take anything away from the Timberwolven. It has no point talking about Steph.”

On the positive side for Curry, he is now not hurried back and can really heal for the warriors who go into the next season. However, Kerr added that he had confidence in the warriors if Curry had never lost at all. “I know we had a shot. I know that we can go the distance.”

Golden State has the 41st total selection in the NBA design of 2025, which means that her main focus will probably be on the future of Jonathan Kuminga and on other assets on her squad. With potential big names this summer, the Warriors are doing things again to take part in competitions.
