Mother of the 16-year-old who were killed in Drive-by shoot

Live Oak, Texas – Lamarcus Willis, 16, was only a few steps from his house by his mother shot from someone from whom he thought he was suspecting to be suspicious in his school bus.

Willis went home from the bus stop on April 2 after his release at the Roosevelt High School. Before Willis could make it from the bus stop to his front door, he was shot several times on the Fratelli Road near the toepperwein Road.

Willis died later in a hospital that day.

“I'm empty, I'm deaf, I'm hurt,” said Dominique Miller, Willis' mother.

The San Antonio police arrested 17-year-old Ty Ron Keith Rodgers, another student in Roosevelt, for murder.

“He wrote an SMS to my phone and explained that someone who shouldn't go by bus got out on the bus and that it felt strange,” said Miller.

An official of the north -east -SD confirmed that Rodgers, as the suspect was charged, was a student of the Roosevelt High School. The official also said that the district has no knowledge that someone was in Willis' bus, who should not be on the bus and that the district works with the police.

Although a suspect is charged with murder, Miller said that the shootout had pushed several people out of the neighborhood, and quoted two families on only one street that has been moved out since then. Miller said a ball had gone in one of the houses in this family.

“I know that you have this one person in custody, but what about the people you have set up? I have the feeling that it is too murder,” said Miller.

Miller said she didn't know that persistent disputes with her son were involved and don't know why someone would shoot and kill him.

“I cry for sleeping,” said Miller. “I blew up and look at his picture on the side of my bed. That was my heart. I miss him.”
