The suspect steals the weapon of the Fountain Valley officer before being shot

Newly released body camera film material from the Police authority Fountain Valley Shows the tense moments after a suspect has managed to get away the weapon of an officer.

The police officers were initially called in the Block from 17400 by Los Jardines West after someone tried to break into a woman's car on January 24th in front of Kazuo Masuda Middle School, as the PD Fountain Valley emerges.

One of the officers finally found the 26-year-old suspicious Osean McClintock near an aircraft machine that was about a block from the Fountain Valley police station. The officer chased McClintock through a nearby parking lot in front of the school district Fountain Valley, but gave up his partner on the radio: “If he tries to run again, just let him go.”

The bodycam of the female officer shows McClintock, who runs onto her open driver -page door. While there is no audio, the video shows how she pulls out her pistol before McClintock calls it away from her. During the fight, the officer is thrown to the ground, but quickly gets up and runs right if your partner arrives.
