On Tuesday, the number of fatalities from Tehran reported after the explosion rose to 70. Another 1,200 were injured by the explosion. “The real number of deaths is several times higher than officially reported,” said Maryam Rajavi, elected President of the NCRI, in a statement. “The IRGC, the intelligence forces and other repression organs have mobilized – not to contain the fires or to save the wounded – but to control the situation and to cover up firm fuel for ballistic rockets and the full scale of the disaster.”

The explosion arose after a freight container that was believed that sodium perchlorate has apparently caught a brewing agent for rockets, including solid fuel in ballistic rockets.

The film material of the explosion showed that ship containers, offices nearby and a massive crater caused considerable damage due to the explosion. Anyone who was killed by the explosion of the explosion of sources within 200 foot.

The Iranian Interior Minister said that the fire has probably started because of “negligence” because the freight was not kept properly, the BBC reported on Tuesday.

Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni said “defects, including non -compliance with safety precautions and negligence,” said the explosion.

The officials also said that “some people who were held as responsible”, but the regime still has to admit that all freight units in the civilian shipping center, which is also the largest port.

The Wall Street Journal reported in January that two solid fuel deliveries from China had been sent to Iran, although it is unclear whether this freight was ever stored on site or whether additional sodium perchlorates had been sent to this port.

In a meeting that took place on Sunday between the Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and regional and port officials, the president seemed to suggest that freight deliveries are not allowed to stay on site for months, and the sales processes have to be accelerated.

After the explosion, the Iran reported reported from the site, evacuated the surrounding areas, placed security forces in local hospitals and accused the media of maintaining false stories about the explosion.

“The only party responsible for this tragedy is none other than Khameneis Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), whose smuggling different materials from abroad drives the production of rockets and other weapons,” Ali Safavi from NCRI told Fox News Digital.

“In view of the catastrophe instead of helping the wounded or regaining the corpses of the deceased, the spiritual regime – packed through fear of a public outcry – instead published strict warnings of the spread of news, pictures and videos of the explosion and threatened severe legal repercections against those who exposed the truth.”
