Man dies after the motorcycle accident in Wheaton

A 22-year-old motorcyclist died in Wheaton on Wednesday, the authorities said.

Around 10:05 a.m., the police from Wheaton and the firefighters reacted together with the staff of the Fire Protection District from Warrenville to an accident with a minivan and a motorcycle in the streets of Butterfield and Herrick.

First aiders found the male motorcyclist with life -threatening injuries. He was admitted by Warrenville -Sanichter to advocate the Good Samaritan Hospital in Dawner's Grove, where he succumbed to his injuries, according to an update in the city.

Wheaton paramedics brought the minivan driver, an 84-year-old woman and the only inhabitant of the vehicle, as a precaution to Northwestern Medicine Central Dupage Hospital.

Part of the Butterfield Road was closed for about 4.5 hours to carry out the Wheaton police and the Merit Major Crash reconstruction team.

No further information was published, with the city quoted on the current investigations.
