Jennifer Lopez reveals a facial injury from the rehearsals of the American Music Awards

Jennifer Lopez shared a health update after suffering a facial injury on stage, required the stitches.

The 55 -year -old singer “On the Floor” revealed on Tuesday (May 13th) that an accident took place last week when she was rehearsed for the upcoming American Music Awards (AMAS), which she will organize and occur on May 26.

Lopez divided two selfies on Instagram, one that showed her to hold an ice cream bag in her face, and a second that showed a small wound over the nose back, the rest of her nose seemed red and swollen.

“So it happened … (while @amas samples),” she wrote online.

In a third article, Lopez shared a picture that, alongside Beverly Hill's plastic surgeon, Dr. Jason Diamond smiled, who was one of the former stars of the Reality series DR 90210. In the recovery picture, Lopez seemed to have a slight discoloration over the nose in which the now healed Gash was.

“Thank you for indicated by Dr. Diamond,” she wrote. “A week later and a lot of ice I am good like new.”

Last month it was announced that the singer was a decade from the time when she was awarded the award line show in 2015, and a dance medley performed up to 14 of the biggest hits of the year in history.

Lopez performed at the event more than ten times since she made her debut in 2001. In 2011 she took the prize for her favorite latin.

The ex-husband of Lopez, Ben Affleck, whom she praised after two years of marriage in August 2024, recently praised the singer at the Los Angeles premiere of his new film The accountant 2, calls them “spectacular”.

Affleck visited the premiere with his children's Violet, 19, Seraphina, 16, and Samuel, 13-, which he shares with ex-wife Jennifer Garner and Lopez '17-year-old twins Max and Emme, which she shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony.

“She is great for my children. I have a great relationship with her children. I love her children – they are wonderful. She is an enormously important, enormous person with a lot of integrity that I adore and am grateful.”

“The relationships they can have with such children – it is the joy of my life,” he continued. “These children are incredible and I am glad that this is a film they wanted to come to.”

He previously told GQ: “There is no scandal, no soap opera, no intrigue. I have nothing but respect for her. To be honest, the truth is much more quotidian than people probably believe or would find it interesting.”
