The football coach of the Bergenfield High School Robert Violante, 3 more killed in the crash on the Taconic State Parkway

New York (WABC) – Four people, including a beloved football coach from the High School from New Jersey, were killed in a fiery crash on the Taconic State Parkway.

The cell phone video shows the fiery episodes of the two-car crash in New Castle in West Chestian County on Wednesday afternoon.

Officials said a van had traveled south, crossed the center median and entered the streets to the north, scored a car.

Three people in the van were killed.

The driver of the car was taken to the hospital, where they were declared dead.

The driver of the van is in a critical condition.

Under the killed football coach of the Bergenfield High School Robert “Rob” Violante.

The mayor of Bergenfield, Arvin Amatorio, published an explanation with the inscription: “On behalf of the district of Bergenfield, we expand the Violante family and everyone who knew and loved coach Rob.

“He was more than a coach, he was a mentor, a father figure and a source of strength for our students and our community.

“In coordination with superintendent Chris Tully, we make sure that our school community has the support to mourn his legacy, heal and honor.”
