Roki Sasaki Injury News briefly relieved Padres that he chose Dodgers

On the surface level, it really felt like the San Diego Padres had a goal in this low season: Roki Sasaki. The right -handed Japanese pitcher was several teams that came to the desired teams in the 2025 season, and the Padres were exactly intense.

A 24:22 K: BB is unforgettable, as is six homes in 34 1/3 pictures. Perhaps his injury affected him to bring his full ability to the fullest, but Sasaki's start into the season was not nearly as glamary as the constant headlines that he made over the winter.

Sasaki once threw against an NL West opponent, which was his last start before he was protected. Against the Arizona Diamondbacks on May 9, Sasaki resulted in five runs with five goals, including two homes and two walks. In eight starts he only entered the sixth inning once and only three other times into the fifth inning.

There is definitely a growering period that Sasaki can be granted, but Padres fans can sunbathe in the fact that they have taken Nick Pivetta under contract instead. He was an all-star level through eight starts and won five games with 9.9 K/9.
