The police confiscated almost 1 pound of fentanyl

A man from Portland is charged after the law enforcement agencies confiscated a large number of drugs, including fentanyl, civil servants said.

On May 14th at 5 p.m., Maine Drug Enforcement Agents and Portland Police Officers stopped a Ford Escort in Ocean Avenue in Portland, which was examined by Abdirahmon A. Adbullahi, 26, from Portland, which, according to MDEA, was examined for drug trade in the Portland region.

“Adbullahi was arrested without an incident for illegal drug trafficking after he was found in the possession of about 72 grams of Fentanyl and 63 grams of cocaine base for resale,” says a press release from the MDEA.

After his arrest, the agents searched Adbullahi's house in the 48 Elmwood St. and almost a pound of fentanyl, more than a quarter of pounds and cocaine base, three firearms, 3,000 US dollars in alleged drug solving “and other objects that indicate the processing and distribution of medicinal products,” it says in the publication.

Adbullahi was charged with the drugs with class A class A for severe trading.

Crime of class A will be punished with a detention of up to 30 years and a fine of $ 50,000. Class B crimes are punished with a detention of up to 10 years and a fine of $ 20,000.

Adbullahi was taken to Cumberland County from Portland by the Portland police, where, according to the publication, a deposit was set to $ 50,000 in cash.
