Florida State Gunman accused of shootings that killed two

The Florida State University student, who was accused of killed two people last month and injured six more on campus, was charged by a big jury for murder. The indictment was published on Wednesday and shared further information about how he carried out the alleged attack, so loudly Associated Press.

The shooter was previously identified as Phoenix Ikner, a student at the university and the stepson of the deputy of a sheriff in Leon County, Jessica Ikner. The 20-year-old was connected to several weapons, including a pistol that was previously his stepmother's service weapon. According to the Grand Jury, the other weapon was his father's pistol.

According to the indictment that was checked by which APOfficers confronted Ikner, shot and wounded him in four minutes. The Grand jury mentioned how an FSU police officer drove his motorcycle to the sound of Schütssen and shot on Ikner on the motorcycle several times. One of the balls hit the alleged murderer in the face.

“All evidence indicates that he only wanted to kill as many people as possible, not that he aimed at one person or group,” wrote the Grand jury. “The only consistent characteristic of every victim was her innocence.”

Ikner was held without a bond and cannot contact the victims or their families. The shooter was taken to a prison in Wakulla County. Ikner is to be charged on June 11th.

Ikner allegedly opened the fire on campus shortly before noon and met several people. Accordingly CnnThe law enforcement agencies brought back a shotgun from the FSU student association, while the pistol was found on the person of the suspect and an additional weapon was found in his car.

“Obviously tragic when the students shot and a loss of life. The quick reaction of the FSU campus police prevented that this was much, much, much worse than it could have been,” said FSU Chancellor Ray Rodrigues in a press release.
