The UNC basketball will try to end on Saturday (6 p.m., ESPN) at the JMA Wireless Dome in Syracuse.

UNC has lost two of his last three games in Syracuse, including a seven-point defeat last season. The heels expired a few losses from Duke and Clemson, in which they used more than 20 points. These defeats pushed UNC far outside the NCAA tournament bubble. From Thursday afternoon, UNC is included in five out of 107 brackets on Bracket Matrix.com.

It is an ascent to get back to the March Madness conversation, and UNC has only a Quadrant 1 opportunity that remains among the last seven games: Duke in the regular season finale on March 8.

Time expires: UNC basketball probably has to win the ACC tournament to make the NCAA tournament Baxley

Here are some other things to know and a score forecast for UNC towards Syracus.

RJ Davis of UNC plays his best basketball of the season

RJ Davis scored an average of 20.5 points in two games against Syracuse last season. While the Tar Heels is struggling as a whole, Davis played some of his best basketball in the last seven games. During this route, Davis scored an average of 18 points at 48.2%, including 45.2% from a 3-point range. Davis has to continue if UNC wishes to turn his season around.

JJ Starling, who is able to help with the NCAA tournament of Orange Crush Tar Heels

Like Davis, Syracuse Guard JJ Starling is one of the top scorers of the ACC. Starling scored an average of 18.6 points per game, but he has pushed up to 26.5 points in the last two games. The 6-foot 4-Wachmann is a bad Matchup for the smaller backcourt of UNC and was successful against the heels last season. He scored 23 points in the victory.

How will the Post players of UNC match Eddie Lampkin from Syracuse?

Colorado Transfer Eddie Lampkin is able to destroy Uncs front court. The 6-foot 11, 265 pound center in the last two games is an average of 18 points and 15.5 rebounds. The Tar Heels tried to limit talented large men, so that the best route from UNC spreads things for success and lampkin brings to work at the defensive end. If Ven-Allen Lubin and Jalen Washington are not willing to achieve Lampkin's physicality, UNC will be difficult.

UNC against Syracuse score forecast

UNC 77, Syracuse 73: The Tar Heels are mediocre, but they didn't lose a squad like the orange this season. Despite the close calls to bad teams, UNC did it. There is not much to suspect that the heels are able to get directly on the street, but 'Cuse has just lost to Miami. UNC is the safer bet in a throwing game.
