Water crisis in Bledsoe County | Local news

Several residents in Bledsoe County say they have been without water for days, while crews of Creek Fall Ufility District Search for leaks.

Kyle Thomas in Bledsoe County says they were out of the water for “now four days”.

The Creek Fall Ufility District (FCFU) asks customers to save as much water as possible while people without being.

A nearby fitness studio on the Wheeler Mountain offered the needy his showers, while the residents say that they cannot even take a shower or use the bathroom in their own houses.

“We are still looking for the main problem that causes the water failure,” says FCFU on Facebook. “We have workers from the Creek case if State Park and a person from the state who assisted here. So far, 2 leaks have been repaired and the 3rd is still being repaired.”

“This is inhuman,” says Thomas.

FCFU serves a large part of the counties of Bledsoe and Van Buren and is outside the Creek Fall State Park in Pikeville.
