Byron Buxton, Carlos Correa injured in collision when twins win the 11th game in a row

Baltimore-Chris Paddack threw seven goalless Innerings and the twins swept the Baltimore Orioles on Thursday with a 4-0 victory, but the health state of Byron Buxton and Carlos Correa overshadowed the 11th victory of the team in a row.

Buxton and Correa left the game after working together on a fly ball in the flat midfield in the third inning. Buxton secured the hook before he pushed into the back of Correa. Buxon's head seemed to hit the left shoulder of Correa and the back of Correas head.

The two players entered the Major League's brain coating protocol after they have been removed and were not available to speak to reporters. Correa carefully went off the field after the collision, and Buxton ended half the Inning in midfield before it was removed.

Diagnosed players are placed on the seven days of injured list of crew conceals. The two players were not made any determination, but Twin's bank coach Jayce Tingler said they will continue to be rated on Friday when the team begins a series in Milwaukee.
